Pangea is a photojournalistic project focused on a documentary view, exploring themes of everyday life through photography and writing. Its main goal it is to respect the time of the documented “objects” and, therefore, aims to bring the public a meticulous, human and vivid work.

History…

Rui Miguel Cunha developed over two years the Magazine Reportagem, a project dedicated to documentary photojournalism. During this period played the roles of director, editor, photographer, designer and business magazine. With such dedication the magazine prevailed in the market and gained public recognition. Before this project Rui Miguel Cunha was already photographing and collaborating with other publications, including the magazine VEGA – Sea & Adventures, working with its editor Inês Lampreia.

After four years of this collaboration Inês Lampreia and Rui Miguel Cunha decided to join their knowledge creating Pangea – a project that join their ethical and professional positions. On their lap they have their life and work experiences, maturity and overviews that complement each other in bringing to light the stories of the people and the world by a serious, profound and humane research through journalism and documentary photography.
