PANGEA is a Portuguese editorial project of international scope, with an online version, oriented by a rigorous editorial criterion, without any dependence on ideological or doctrinal, political or economic levels.

PANGEA investigates major current issues facing the Portuguese, European and international societies, with an intent to contribute to the enlightenment of public opinion by creating diverse and pluralistic readings.

PANGEA does not develop a news-oriented work, but it rather intends to continue the tradition of journalistic and technical quality and apply it to a work of documentary nature.

PANGEA takes its editorial options without favoring any hierarchies or lobbies coming from the various sectors of activity.

PANGEA assumes a commitment to truth and it is governed by the deontological principles of media and professional ethics.

PANGEA refuses the treatment of information through sensationalism, human or mercantile exploration.

PANGEA hosts on its online page works made by journalists and photographers who develop depth research on various topics and who use journalistic and documental technique in order to perform it.

PANGEA invests on diversified information related to human life, including the most varied fields of activity.

PANGEA strives for an active and informed public opinion considered as essential to break the regional, national and cultural boundaries through a depth look at their differences and similarities.

PANGEA respects the private space of citizens and has as a principle its public credibility.

PANGEA ensures dissemination of information and events related to the researched themes, providing access to information through its online version.

PANGEA recognizes the right of reply (exercised in accordance with the law) to any person whose good name and reputation may be affected by inaccurate information in their articles and broadcasted projects.

PANGEA also contributes to the dissemination of academic research where these relate to the investigated issues.
